Hi, I’m a UCLA Political Science student with a 3.9 GPA and over three years of tutoring experience at a college writing center. I’ve worked as an official Writing Tutor and statistics tutor, helping students improve essay structure, argumentation, and analytical skills. I was initially recommended by my English professor to the Writing Center at Los Angeles Valley College to be a writing tutor, but since then, I have established myself as a strong writing tutor and an integral part of the tutoring team. My main specializations are college-level papers, political science and humanities essays, thesis development and argument building, statistics support, and editing for clarity and organization.
My approach focuses on teaching students how to think and write independently, not just correcting mistakes. Many students struggle not because they’re incapable, but because no one has shown them how to organize their ideas and put them down on paper. My goal is to give students and writers the skills and tools that they need to be able to become strong writers.
