I have been teaching English to Spanish students for over 3 years. Since I learned Spanish as a adult I realize how different the approach needs to be when teaching different ages. If I am teaching a 20 year old English my approach may need to be different than when teaching a 50 year old. I can use different methods such as visual, auditory, and memorization. Each class will be tailored to what you prefer. I have taught students as young as 4 years old all the way to senior citizens. I have done hundreds of private lessons with students online through other language platform web sites. Some of the approaches I can use are traditional, grammar-focused methods to immersive, and interactive techniques. I can also teach with key approaches such as Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) (focusing on real-life interaction), Total Physical Response (TPR) (combining movement with language), and "Principled Eclecticism," blending techniques tailored to student needs. I have continued my studies through courses similar to Cambridge and TOEFL.
Many issues students have are the result of a lack of information with how native speakers use words in speech and how to understand the spelling of English vs the speaking of English. Students can obtain many inherited errors in pronunciation. Once these issues are looked into, a student's speaking abilities can improve drastically
