Bio

I’m a rising fourth-year undergraduate at UCLA pursuing an intensive joint degree path, both a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics. Over the past five years, I’ve worked one-on-one with students ranging from eager middle-school learners encountering algebra for the first time to college undergraduates tackling multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations, and abstract algebra.

Some courses I have tutored in the past include:

Over the past five years, I’ve worked one-on-one with students ranging from eager middle-school learners encountering algebra for the first time to college undergraduates tackling multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations, and abstract algebra.

Some courses I have tutored in the past include:
SAT/ACT Math
Algebra I
Geometry
Algebra II
Precalculus
Trigonometry
AP Calculus AB (Calculus I)
AP Calculus BC (Calculus II)
Calculus III (Multivariable)
Linear Algebra
Differential Equations
Logic and Proofwriting
Abstract Algebra
Advanced Linear Algebra
Real Analysis

Other Non Math Classes I have tutored for include:
AP Physics C (Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism)
AP Chemistry
AP Macroeconomics

This experience has honed both my ability to explain foundational concepts clearly and my appreciation for how different learners absorb information. My goal is to demystify challenging material and empower students to discover their own problem-solving strategies and to make math more fun!

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have five years of experience tutoring algebra students with a wide range of backgrounds and learning styles. I identify the concepts causing difficulty and develop a clear, step-by-step plan to strengthen each student’s understanding of equations, functions, factoring, and word problems. My goal is to help students build a strong mathematical foundation while becoming more confident and independent problem solvers.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I have five years of experience helping students strengthen their understanding of Algebra II and develop greater confidence in their problem-solving abilities. I support students with quadratic equations, polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic expressions, systems of equations, and complex numbers. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style, identify gaps in foundational knowledge, and create a clear plan for improvement. My goal is to help students understand how concepts connect so they are prepared for precalculus and higher-level mathematics.
Calculus

Calculus

I have five years of experience tutoring calculus, from introductory limits and derivatives through integration and multivariable calculus. I break complicated problems into manageable steps while helping students understand the intuition behind each formula and technique. I tailor sessions to each student’s individual needs so they can overcome difficult topics, improve their problem-solving skills, and approach calculus with greater confidence.
Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra

I have five years of tutoring experience. I help students understand matrices, systems of equations, vector spaces, linear transformations, determinants, eigenvalues, and eigenvectors. I emphasize both computational techniques and the geometric intuition behind each concept, adapting my explanations to each student’s learning style. My goal is to make abstract ideas approachable while helping students become confident and independent problem solvers.
Physics

Physics

With five years of tutoring experience, I help students prepare for AP Physics exams by strengthening both their conceptual understanding and quantitative problem-solving skills. I provide targeted review of topics such as motion, forces, energy, momentum, rotation, electricity, waves, and circuits while identifying each student’s areas for improvement. I also work through AP-style multiple-choice and free-response questions, emphasizing clear diagrams, organized reasoning, correct units, and effective use of equations. My goal is to create a focused study plan that helps students approach exam day with confidence and earn as many points as possible.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I have five years of experience helping students develop the algebraic and graphical skills needed to succeed in precalculus. I work with each student to clarify challenging topics such as functions, logarithms, polynomials, rational expressions, sequences, and introductory trigonometry. Because precalculus provides the foundation for calculus, I make sure students understand both how to solve problems and why the methods work.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I have five years of tutoring experience helping students strengthen the mathematical skills and test-taking strategies needed for the SAT. I work with students on algebra, problem solving, data analysis, geometry, and advanced math while identifying the specific question types that cause them difficulty. I also teach pacing, process of elimination, and efficient problem-solving methods so students can approach the exam with greater confidence. Each study plan is tailored to the student’s goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.
SAT Reading

SAT Reading

I have tutored several students in SAT Prep, with an average cumulative score increase of 150.
SAT Writing

SAT Writing

I have tutored several students in SAT Prep, with an average cumulative score increase of 150.
Trigonometry

Trigonometry

I have five years of tutoring experience helping students make sense of trigonometry through visual explanations and meaningful connections between concepts. I guide students through the unit circle, trigonometric functions, graphs, identities, equations, and triangle applications at a pace that matches their learning style. My goal is to move students beyond memorization so they can understand where formulas come from and apply them confidently.
