I am a Mechanical Engineer by profession, currently working as a Manager at an aerospace company with over 20 years of industry experience. Despite a busy professional life, my passion for teaching math has remained constant. I genuinely enjoy this subject not just solving problems, but also making math more accessible and enjoyable for others. I believe math isn't a difficult subject if approached with the right mindset and guidance. My goal is to help young minds see the beauty and logic in math and develop a lifelong appreciation for it.
My teaching journey began during my master’s studies in Mechanical Engineering at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), where I started tutoring students and also earned a tutoring certification. Although I had to step away for a few years due to personal and professional commitments, I’m now excited to return to tutoring and share my knowledge once again.
I prefer in-person teaching because it allows for better engagement and connection, but I am also open to online sessions depending on what suits the student best. I’m willing to travel to students homes within a 4–6 mile radius from mine. Alternatively, students are welcome to come to my place for sessions if they can.
Availability:
Monday to Thursday: 5 PM – 7 PM (after my work hours)
Weekends: Available for in-person sessions at my home
Let’s connect and find a schedule that works best for both of us!
