I tutored Math, Chemistry, and Physics at the general tutoring lab at Los Angeles Valley College for 3 years, where I received my training as a tutor. In those years, I kept a great reputation and gained a very successful and excellent experience helping college students, aiding them through difficult times, and putting them on the right path of success. My experience is not limited to college students only! But I also have a great experience tutoring high school students in multiple subjects, in one-to-one sessions throughout their academic year, some of them: I tutored for years until they graduated.
Students, I worked with, have scored higher on their finals and other placement tests.

I am very flexible in regard to when and where to meet. Patience is my philosophy and communication is my key-factor towards a successful and productive tutoring session, therefore; I am very friendly and patient with the student.
Being on time is always my goal, and in a case of emergency: I notify the student as early as possible.

Tutoring is my passion and I always look for an opportunity to aid a student, to improve his/her skills, and to bring out his/her talent. Albert Einstein said once:

03/23/15 LOUIE... is a great tutor. in a span of an hour, he was able to cover the requirements for review for the week's syllabus. There is no dull moment with his method of teaching because he is very intense and this enables him to capture the attention of the student. He is very kind and accommodating with regards to schedules as well. Very, very kind man!

This was by far one of the most effective tutors I’ve worked with! Having majored in the humanities, I’m having to contend with deficits in math and science skills that are used to access Chemistry concepts. Louie recognized this and was able to clearly and concisely break down complex concepts while also addressing the basic skills needed to access them. I had to take a test after working with him; as a result of his explanations and the test cues he advised me to pay attention to, I earned an A. I will definitely continue to request his support.
