Hello! My name is Duy-Anh and I am a recent graduate of the University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy with my PharmD and BA in Arts and Applied Sciences. Now that I am out of school and working, I am looking for opportunities to give back to the community in the same way that many of my mentors and tutors had given me the tools that I need to succeed. I consider myself thorough but patient in my tutoring style, and will always prefer quality over quantity when helping my tutees understand difficult concepts.
I have a degree in Pharmacy and have taken graduate level courses in biology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. My preference would be to tutor high school students with their college prep or AP Biology courses, but I am available to offer tutoring for university level courses as well.
I took three years of Spanish in high school, skipping a year and have gotten a 5 on the AP Spanish Language Exam. I was also a TA in my graduate level Medical Spanish class and regularly employ conversational and professional Spanish at work.
I received a 5 on my AP English Literature exam in high school and have an advanced command and knowledge of the intricacies of English grammar.
History and geography are subjects that I regularly read up on, and I have a proficient knowledge of European, Chinese, Classical, and Early Modern World History.
Feel free to contact me anytime to schedule a session! Although I do work most days, I am always willing to tutor in the evening or on the weekends within reason. Hope to meet you soon!
