Bio

I have 4 years of experience as a tutor and/or teacher. Before I went to UC Davis, which is where I graduated from with a B.S. in Biology, I went to Glendale Community College and for 3 years I was a teacher's assistant in U. S. History and Economics. I used to teach 10-50 college students at a time so I learned quickly how to adapt to my audiences' learning style. This experience also taught me how to become more patient and organized. I have 4 years of experience as a tutor and/or teacher. I used to teach 10-50 college students at a time so I learned quickly how to adapt to my audiences' learning style. This experience also taught me how to become more patient and organized. I also was a middle school science teacher for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. During this time I would help students after school with their homework especially with their math and science classes. I also have graduated from Stony Brook University with a Master's degree in Science with an emphasis in Physician's Assistant. Hence, I am very knowledgeable about health science classes. I have experience with tutoring in Algebra as I am currently tutoring a few 7th graders in Algebra and after a few sessions they are already seeing an improvement with their grades. I also used to tutor a few 8th graders in math and science and they too saw an improvement with their grades. I also have experience with tutoring adults as I used to be a teacher's assistant when I was in college and I would tutor anywhere from 10-50 students at a time so I am very patient and organized. In addition to Algebra, I also tutor Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Cal and Trigonometry to any age student.

When I was in college I used to be a teacher's assistant for U.S. History and I would teach anywhere from 10-50 students at a time so I had to learn quickly how to adapt to my audiences' learning habits. I also have experience teaching U.S. History, World History and AP History classes to high students. All my students have done well in their history classes.

I used to be a middle school science teacher and through this experience I learned how to make difficult science topics fun and interesting. Also when I went to U.C. Davis I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biology with a 3.92 GPA. I also have a Masters in Science with an emphasis in Physician Assistant from Stony Brook University with a 3.78 GPA. Thus I have a background in health sciences. I have taught college, high school, middle school and elementary students in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Environmental Science. I have helped students prepare for AP tests and entrance exams. In addition, I have helped students prepare for college by helping them with essays or by helping them study the science section of the SATs.

Great teaching approach
