Outside the Box Thinking!
After struggling for weeks with four different screen recorders and hours of "tech support" from these companies, the panning problems continued with jerky movements. Patrick suggested an inexpensive URL copy/paste app (Downey) that he personally liked, and it solved the problem! Like another reviewer said "worth every penny"; I should have started with Patrick first.
