I am currently a first-year Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) student in Clinical Psychology, where I am expanding my knowledge of psychological assessment, child development, learning, psychopathology, and evidence-based interventions. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2023 from California State University, Fullerton, graduating magna cum laude and completing the University Honors Program. During my undergraduate education, I conducted independent psychological research, presented my findings at the Senior Honors Conference, and strengthened my research and scientific writing skills. My graduate training continues to deepen my understanding of human behavior, learning, and strategies for supporting individuals with diverse cognitive and emotional needs.

In addition to my academic background, I have several years of experience teaching, mentoring, and supporting individuals in a variety of settings. As a Literacy Mentor, I provided weekly one-on-one English instruction to school-aged students, helping them improve reading comprehension, vocabulary, and spelling. I also served as an Honors Peer Mentor at California State University, Fullerton, where I guided undergraduate students through research development, study strategies, and academic planning. These experiences taught me to adapt my teaching style to each student's unique learning needs while fostering a supportive learning environment.

I also have experience working with neurodiverse children, providing individualized support for children with ADHD and autism. This has strengthened my ability to tailor instruction, maintain engagement, implement behavioral strategies, and communicate effectively with students who have diverse learning profiles. I strive to help students build confidence alongside academic skills by creating engaging sessions tailored to their goals and learning styles.
