I've spent my career as a professional television writer, and the most useful thing I've learned is that writing is a craft — and craft can be taught.

I'm a current member of the Writers Guild of America with credits including You're the Worst on FX and The Muppets on ABC. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Trinity College. From there I built a career working across broadcast, cable, and streaming — developing stories, running writers rooms, breaking structure, and translating creative vision into scripts that actually get made.

For two years I mentored screenwriting students at Loyola Marymount University, helping them transform rough spec scripts into sharp, professional writing samples. One mentee went on to land a job on a hit HBO series and secure representation at a major agency. I've continued that work one-on-one, both remotely and in person, and have helped high school students strengthen their college application essays with the same core principle: find your real voice and make every word earn its place.
