My teaching experience began as a volunteer English teacher in rural Southern China, where I spent three months leading a 2nd-grade classroom. Teaching young students required me to develop highly engaging, patient, and simplified methods to build their foundational vocabulary from the ground up. I carry this same adaptability into my Chinese tutoring today, whether I am helping a beginner master basic tones or assisting an advanced student with professional-level conversation and media literacy.
