I'm ready to teach healthcare terminology, pharmacology, and Nursing for LVN/LPN students. As a Registered Nurse with Bachelors Degree in Nursing, I have over 11 years of Nursing experience in various settings, and am fully aware of the expectations from facilities towards new graduate LVNs.
I have taught LVN students within the Clinical settings on Med/Surge floors, Subacute Units, and Nursing Home settings. As a Skills Lab instructor, I have taught LVN students in all terms, skills varying from proper head to toe assessments to invasive skills such as foley catheter insertion. I have tutored students on all of the body systems, by explaining the diseases in simplified terminology, geared towards the student’s understanding of the concept. Aside from tutoring on the diseases, I have tutored students on different medical terminologies, on Pharmacology and math calculations necessary for attaining proper dosages.
My goal is to assist LVN/LPN students in understanding their lesson plans, so that they can move forward with their LVN program and graduate with the knowledge necessary to properly work within the Nursing field.
