As a software engineer with over 15 years of industry experience, I've solved real-world problems working at companies like Google and Amazon. I bring this perspective when teaching and mentoring prospective software engineers - blending the theoretical fundamentals of computer science with real-world problem solving skills is critical to becoming a well-rounded software engineer.
I studied Computer Science & Engineering formally at UCLA. I loved the theoretical coursework so much that I also pursued a minor in Mathematics. Even after leaving the academic world, I continued to have a strong passion in learning, tinkering, and teaching math and programming to others. During my time in industry I have also mentored many interns and junior engineers to succeed on the job.
As a tutor, I bring all these experiences to help students at all levels find success in their academics and to better prepare them for industry.
