In my time as a debate coach, I have sent seven students to the Tournament of Champions, the most prestigious debate competition in the country, and have developed the skills of numerous debaters who ultimately became nationally ranked competitors. In my six years coaching, we have won our league championship every year. In my own debate career, I was a national semi-finalist and state finalist in two oratorical competitions, and routinely placed in the top five of debate invitationals.
