Hello, I am a National Board Certified High School Science Teacher. I have been teaching in one of the largest school districts in the nation for the past 25 years. Before I embarked on my education as a high school science teacher, I taught for an organization that specialized in preparation for the SAT exam. This involved instruction for both the verbal and mathematics portions of the exam.
Through all my years of teaching, I have truly enjoyed making the connection of learning and understanding ideas and concepts. Whether through laboratory experiments, demonstrations, discussions, group work, or other learning activities, I have applied a plethora of methodologies to engage my students. This has resulted in my students succeeding in many aspects of their education - from improved test scores, an increased grade point average and an overall appreciation for science.
