I've been working as a tutor since 2018, both at a tutoring centers as well as private tutoring. I'm certified as a tutor by the CRLA. I've also taught classes at UCLA alongside two Google colleagues; CS130 (Software Engineering) at UCLA,

I love teaching and it has been my favorite job (more than Google), and is what motivated me to pursue academia as well as industry positions. My daily projects involve fullstack development with a focus on the backend as well as machine learning.

Approved Subjects

C++

C++

Worked with C++, specifically on machine learning models at work. I know the features of the language such as procedural and object oriented programming. I know how to implemented the entire STL objects from scratch, as well as the common algorithms such as binary search, quicksort, merge sort, and many others in C++. I have taken high level C++ classes in university and have used it in research, specifically on program synthesis research.
Computer Science

Computer Science

Bachelors in Computer Science from UC Berkeley. I've taken a wide range of classes in the field of computer science. Including but not limited to Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Architecture, Data Structures, Algorithms. I also did research at Carnegie Mellon University and CSU Northridge on program synthesis. I TA'ed for 5 classes while in undergrad. Specifically I lectured, graded, and created assignments for Intro to CS (CS101), Intermediate CS (CS136) object oriented programming (CS140), computer architecture (CS120), and data structures (CS132).
Discrete Math

Discrete Math

Taken discrete math at University. Topics include Propositional Logic, Proofs, Induction, Stable Matching, Graphs, Modular Arithmetic, RSA encryption, Polynomials, secret sharing, error correcting codes, Discrete Probability, Conditional Probability, Independent Probability, Variance and Poisson distribution, Gaussian distribution, and other discrete math topics. I received an A in the class and was also offered the job of working as a tutor for the class (I did not pursue this due to other responsibilities).
Linux

Linux

I have used linux for a long time. I even have a linux desktop USB stick, which is an entire linux operating system on a flash drive which I can use on any computer (in BIOS i set my USB as the bootup drive, and it will run entirely off my USB, I can even completely remove the USB after booting up and it will continue to run fine). Google engineers work via a cloud desktop (CRD) via internal tools. Almost all of my work is done on Linux
