Hey mentees! My name is Ariana and I'm currently attending CSU Long Beach in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Throughout my schooling career, I've taken various difficult courses but would always shy away from asking for help. I've come to realize that it's okay to ask for help...and tutors can be quite friendly! That's why I'm here to assist you with anything you may be struggling with while creating an environment that is comfortable for you!

I've mentored students since 2018 in group and private lessons for violin, piano, and music theory, and have helped students excel on their instrument. I have also conducted several private tutoring sessions with special needs children.
I'm also bilingual and welcome Spanish speaking students! Asistire a estudiantes en español también!
Math has always come naturally to me, and I would often help my classmates with math throughout grade school. I also love math and it’s a large portion of my current major!
Chemistry holds a special place in my heart, and I believe all students should know chemistry. Many will give up on the subject because it can be seen as one of the more difficult ones, but I am here to show students that it is actually not too difficult with the proper guidance.
I've spoken Spanish my whole life. I actually learned Spanish alongside English and even had an emphasis in Spanish since that is all I would speak at home. I've also taken a couple of advanced Spanish courses in high school, so I will be able to combine my own knowledge with the "academic" form of Spanish to provide the best lessons for you.
I have studied music since 2010, and I’ve had several music lessons throughout my lifetime and have also given my own lessons, so I believe I am very well suited to teach students the wonders of music theory.
I am eager to help you all persevere and succeed in school. I welcome suggestions and resources from students and parents. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or to schedule a lesson!
