Gideon is the reason for my son’s 5 on Ap Physics 1
My son loves science, but due to a combination of factors (ADHD, missing classes for team trips and an AP Physics teacher that was typically an AP Chemistry teacher) he struggled in AP Physics 1 last year. We tried a lot of different tutors during the year, but nothing clicked for him until we connected with Gideon in March. After the first lesson my son announced that “now I get it!” Gideon worked with Patrick during the late Spring and really stepped up and worked with him intensely in late April and May through the exam. Initially Gideon worked with Patrick on the material for class, but later on he helped him with a detailed summary of the entire course in preparation for the exam. With the help of Gideon, my son managed to pull his grade up to an A- in the course, but more importantly my son was one of only three kids in AP Physics 1 to get a 5 on the exam - much to the surprise of his teacher! I would highly recommend Gideon for help - either with the coursework or with AP prep! BTW - My son had such a great experience that he decided to take AP Physics 2 this year and we are beginning with Gideon at the beginning of the year so as to avoid classwork frustrations during the year and the end of year crunch for the AP exam!

Great tutoring experience - from a AP 5 student
We have been with Gideon for nearly 1 year now. Gideo is patient, methodological, experienced, and has a systematic approach to teaching. From a fairly low starting point, Gideon was able to help our high-schooler ease into his physics course and continue raising him up. Not only he is doing well in school on the subject, but he also got a 5 on his AP test, for which Gideon's tutoring played an instrumental role.
