My greatest area of teaching expertise is in AP World: Modern, in which I have 20 years experience. I also participate as a yearly AP Exam reader, scoring free-response (essay) questions for the College Board. In addition, I work as an author for an online test-prep company, writing multiple-choice and free response questions for AP World and other social studies courses. This combined experience allows me to assist students in both understanding the content of the course as well as mastering writing skills on SAQs, LEQs, and DBQs. It has also given me the tools to provide targeted review and practice that helps students achieve success on the AP Exam.

In addition, with 30 years of experience teaching social studies at the middle and high school levels, I can provide support in a wide range of courses, including U.S. History, World History, Government, Economics, Geography, and Psychology.
