I specialize in AP World History: Modern, with 20 years of classroom experience teaching the course. I also serve as a yearly AP Exam Reader, scoring free-response questions (SAQs, LEQs, and DBQs) for the College Board. In addition, I am an author for a national online test-prep company, where I write both multiple-choice and free-response questions for AP World and other social studies courses.
This combined experience allows me to help students truly understand course content while also mastering the specific writing and analytical skills required for success on the AP Exam. I provide targeted review, strategic practice, and clear feedback designed to improve performance and build confidence.
Beyond AP World, I bring 30 years of experience teaching social studies at the middle and high school levels and can support students in a wide range of courses, including U.S. History, World History, Government, Economics, Geography, and Psychology.
