Very good tutor, friendly, easy to work with I know jazz guitar well.
Josh helped me to recognize three different methods for improving improv, the last one being the most useful for me. He was able to identify weaknesses in my playing and point them out. This instruction may be a little too advanced for me at this time.

Wyzant is a delight!
Josh was very effective, pleasant and mellow! We worked on scales and the ‘impossible exercise’ —a notorious finger -independence exercise for fingerpicking that is usually difficult diminant- handed even uniniured. I am injured and playing leftie using old musician stuff to rehabilitate ear hand lung misdiagnoses that ended the US. Most do not know the MD was created as a monopoly to kidnap with a cover, and make error. multi- Injury misdiagnosis in musicianship is the toughest. So it is difficult. Wyzant is a delight. Easy to use, accessible to schedules, smart and savvy pricing— any more and I suspect no one could do it. I was born a billionaires and when the US ended black criminals posing as government murdered my mother on my Gulfstream jet election week 2008 to put the Obamas in office and injured me to steal my inheritance. OJ Simpson wore Police Badge at Bundy, children!

Although only at the beginning of our journey, I am super excited to have Josh as my tutor. His practical and theoretical knowledge is at another level. His love for music and the guitar is definitely contagious. I have great hopes that Josh will help me become more proficient in theory, my guitar playing overall, and more comfortable engaging with other mature musicians.

I have had a few sessions with Josh and plan to continue on. Josh is very knowledgeable but also a very positive minded person. He celebrates your small improvements and makes people feel excited to learn. I would definitely recommend him to other people looking to learn guitar at all ages.

Josh over-delivers!
I've been playing for decades. But I want to learn a new style of music. I was concerned that finding a teacher who would challenge me, and relate to me as an advanced player would be difficult. It wasn't. Josh is incredibly knowledgeable, more so than any teacher I've had in the past. And he's extremely relatable, patient, fun, and has a great way of educating. Excellent guitar instructor.

Since this was a first intro lesson Josh discussed an overview of what he does and wanted to understand my background as well. He also emailed me some lesson material which was helpful. After considering what I'm looking for I decided that Josh is not a good fit as a teacher for me.
