I’m a graduate of California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. My background in advanced math, physics, and problem solving has given me a deep understanding of how to make challenging topics clear and approachable. During my high school and college years, I often helped classmates and younger students with calculus, algebra, and physics, explaining concepts in ways that connected to real-world examples. That experience helped me develop patience, clarity, and the ability to adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs.
My approach is centered on building confidence. I believe every student can succeed when they understand why something works—not just how to memorize it. Whether we’re working on math fundamentals or preparing for a test, I focus on helping students develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills that last beyond the classroom. I encourage questions, celebrate progress, and make sure learning feels positive and achievable.
Alongside math, I also offer drum lessons and Korean language tutoring. As a lifelong musician, I enjoy teaching rhythm, coordination, and musical expression to beginners of all ages. For Korean, I provide conversational practice and pronunciation help for students who want to connect with the language and culture. My lessons are relaxed but structured, and I always tailor them to fit each student’s goals and learning style.
