Hello! My name is Ryan, and I am an experienced Stem tutor/Full-Time Lead Software Engineer at a $10M+ valuation Startup, with 7+ years of experience helping my students achieve their full potential.

With a strong background in Math and Computer Science, I’ve helped students ranging from Elementary school through graduating high school seniors.

Whether you need help with any math subject from grade-level math up to Calculus, learning how to code, preparing for the SAT, or even finding inspiration for your college essays, I will be the perfect match to guide you in your academic journey. I’ve earned Associate’s Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from IVC, where I achieved acceptances into UCLA, UCI, UCSD, UCSB, and more. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization on Information at UCI.

Achieving a perfect SAT Math score, I’ve developed a variety of strategies to help my students target weak points in their problem-solving skills. I’ve raised my students' scores by over 100 points within weeks by employing an efficient, yet effective studying strategy that works for all types of learners.

My style of teaching focuses on a few key principles. I work alongside my students, ensure a comprehensive understanding of difficult topics, and focus on clear communication. I ask students questions that will guide them to the answer while allowing them to think critically. This way, they have a framework for how to solve similar problems on their own. I make sure my students can reexplain how to solve these problems. Finally, I adapt to each student to make sure I’m communicating in a way that they understand the best.

If you are struggling with solving complex problems, writing, or finding efficient ways to get ahead of the curve, I’m here to help.
