I taught for eight years in the paralegal program at Heald College and while my classes were legal in nature, much of my teaching also had to do with public speaking and teaching basic grammar and reading comprehension.
I competed in debate in high school for four years. I finished 7 and 10th in the California State High School Speech and Debate Tournament in extemporaneous speaking. I am a polished public speaker. I am an avid reader. I average reading 80 books per year. I work as a Paralegal and am expected to have excellent writing and proof reading skills, which I do. My work as a teacher has helped my public speaking skills and my ability to teach grammar.
