Hi! I’m Meenakshi (“Meenu”), a current medical student at Ross University and a proud graduate of UC Berkeley, where I earned my B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology. I’ve always loved science and helping others make sense of it. Since undergrad, I’ve been tutoring biology topics like introductory biology, anatomy, and physiology, adapting to each student’s learning style. In medical school, I’ve continued to tutor peers in subjects such as biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, and physiology. I recently passed the USMLE Step 1 exam and have been on the Dean’s List every semester so far, reflecting my consistent academic performance. I bring to tutoring not only strong content knowledge, but also firsthand experience with effective study strategies and test preparation methods.

My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive, structured, and empowering environment for students. I believe in building confidence alongside understanding, and I tailor each session to the individual. Whether we’re using practice questions, active recall tools like Anki, or drawing out diagrams to visualize tough concepts, I aim to make learning engaging and effective. I especially enjoy working with pre-med and medical students, but I’m also happy to support high school or college students who want to strengthen their science foundation or prepare for big exams like the MCAT.
