I am an engineer with many years of design experience working in a fortune 50 company. I completed my BSEE and also a double MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Through my years of college I was a teaching assistant where I taught both undergraduate and graduate level labs and courses. These were both in class of about 30 students and in one on one settings. Learning from my professors who focused on ensuring that each and every student deserves to do well in their respective subjects, I too went the extra mile to help students in their course work and research. I remember clearly how I would continue to answer questions from curious students well after our class time until they felt they had fully grasped the concept. This meant coming up with similes that eventually clicked - something that I am very good at to this day.
In my career here in the bay area, I have further honed these skills and built upon them many fold. Working with teams to solve complex state of the art problems, requires above all the ability to develop and communicate ideas to others. It also requires helping other develop in their roles and the patience to answer questions from people to reach common ground so an execution plan can be put in place. All of this comes naturally to me partly because of my earlier experiences of teaching others.
I appreciate students who can provide me more insight into their expectations and where they feel they are in the subject of interest. This helps be prepare and tailor my instruction to their needs. Finally, any feedback they provide me as we make progress is always welcome. Looking forward to meeting you and making your learning fun and interesting. Thank you.
