I first started working as mathematics teacher in high schools teaching grades from 8 to 12. I also I worked as an Academic Counselor at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in part-time and taught mathematics and Statistics for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce students. After gaining good amount of experience, I started working in an Engineering College to teach mathematics for 1st to 6th semester students. My experience of teaching Engineering Computing for engineering students at Central Queensland University in Australia provided me an opportunity to enhance my teaching skills at various levels. Later I worked as a substitute teacher/classroom teacher with teacher credentials in Queensland and Perth schools of Australia. In addition to all this, I tutored many students in India and Australia on one-to-one and group basis.
Currently I have been working as a substitute teacher with a teacher credential from California Commission in three different school districts: Fremont, New Haven, and Newark Unified School Districts for four years. After getting enough acquaintance and exposure to the school system at different grade levels from K-12, I wanted to apply for tutoring positions. This position seems to be a right fit to advance the skills I mentioned above to continue with my tutoring career challenging myself.
