Hi, I'm Shreya. I am graduating from a Bay Area high school with a presidential award from the Math department and am going to Caltech to pursue Computer Science, Control Systems, and Math. Throughout high school, I was very curious about the why behind every math and logic problem, which led me to proofs and deriving equations to understand the problems I solved. I bring this mindset to my teaching, too. My lessons will ensure that you not only understand the concept, but can apply it to more complex problems because you can derive the logic yourself. I teach based on the students' needs, modifying my material to ensure that students learn the most they can.

I have received 5's on AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Physics 1, AP Chemistry, AP English Language, and AP World History. I have also given exams for AP Statistics, AP Computer Science A, AP Physics C Mechanics, AP Macroeconomics, and AP US Government and Politics this year.

I have tutored hundreds of students on topics such as competition math (number theory, geometry, combinatorics), high school math (precalculus/trigonometry, calculus, statistics), and middle school math (pre-algebra, algebra). My students who went on to take competitive exams like Mathcounts and MOEMS consistently placed in the top 10, with multiple students moving to the state level.

I have been teaching for 4 years now, and have volunteered to teach one-on-one, in classroom settings with 30+ students, online in large groups, and in small groups of 5-10 students online and in-person. I have also taken one-on-one classes for homework help, which students have found particularly helpful.
