I'm Reilly, an Honor Roll Mechanical Engineering student (Bioengineering Emphasis) with a minor in Economics at San Diego State University, and a Fremont native who graduated from Irvington High School. Throughout my time as a student across AP and college-level courses, I've learned that the class experiences I cherished the most weren't the ones I was most interested in, nor the best at. Rather, I was compelled by engaging professors who challenged me with intricate curriculum and were always ready to help me succeed. These professors culminated a fruitful learning environment where mistakes were embraced and further application of concepts was prioritized. I try to apply what has helped me learn in the past to my tutoring approach, and do everything to create a welcome and patient learning experience. I always intend to adapt my teaching style towards each respective student and implement specific learning styles based on the subject and individual needs of the student.

I have about two years of tutoring experience teaching mathematics across elementary, middle-school, high-school, and college levels. I worked directly with students who needed additional support, providing a one-on-one experience. Further, I've helped tutor over 20 hours after school to ensure they weren't falling behind. In this setting, I taught not only mathematics, but science and English as well.

I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible and engage in practical applications of concepts. I focus on creating a lucrative learning environment that welcomes any resources a student or parent sends my way. I am easy to reach and will always provide fast responses.
