I've taught college and high school for over 20 years and have experience helping students with different learning styles. I taught honors research & writing classes (in English), journalism and all levels of Spanish. My specialty is teaching grammar, writing and literary analysis. I emphasize critical thinking and seek creative ways to make difficult academic topics approachable. As someone who once struggled with certain academic areas, I understand the value of patience, persistence and finding methods that work based on the strengths of the learner.
