Hello! My name is Danielle.
I am currently a doctoral student in occupational therapy at San Jose State University. I have a strong passion for science and mathematics and have received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Davis. I graduated from Davis with high honors and a grade point average of 3.95. I love learning and sharing resources with others.
Throughout high school and following college, I participated in various tutoring opportunities. In high school and after college, I worked at a tutoring center that worked with students in elementary school, middle school, and high school in all core subjects. Throughout college, I worked as a learning assistant in a college-level biology course in which I reviewed core concepts in a group setting.
I prefer tutoring in science and math, but am open to tutoring in other subject areas. I have worked with students in a one-on-one setting, one-on-two setting, and in a group setting. I enjoy explaining concepts to students in different ways and utilize visual methods to help students understand problems. I like to challenge my students to think outside of the box to prepare them for real-world applications.
Feel free to reach out to me if you are interested in my tutoring services. I am open to answering any questions or concerns. I can also offer a free consultation meeting and do not require a cancellation notice.
Thank you!
