Hello. I'm Paige. As a highschooler, I attended an International Baccalaureate school. Upon graduation, I went to Sweet Briar College and graduated with my Bachelors' in Chemistry while obtaining minors in Engineering and Education. After that, I attended Mills College where I received a joint Masters' in Business Administration and Public Policy.
While in high school, I participated in peer tutoring and volunteered at local organizations working with elementary and preteen students. As part of the education requirements for my Education minor, I was required to student teach at the local high schools for 3-4 hours/week for each class which gave me valuable classroom experience as a Chemistry and Physics teacher. Also, I designed curriculum for gifted middle schoolers in the area. In graduate school, I worked as a tutor, notetaker, reader, teaching assistant, and graduate assistant. This mostly consisted of one on one experience, but did include classroom experience.
I have experience teaching the following high school subjects: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2. Trigonometry , Calculus 1, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, History, English, Government, Economics, ACT/SAT prep, and proofreading College Admissions essays/applications.
At the college level, I have primarily worked with students in any humanities. I am diligent in proofreading essays and helping students organize their thoughts. I have a background in tutoring college-level economic, business administration, and public policy courses. I am capable of tutoring the following Math & Science collegiate-level courses due to my undergraduate-level education: Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, Differential Equations, Biology 1, Biology 2, General Chemistry 1, General Chemistry 2, Physics 1, Physics 2, Statics, and Dynamics.
I love helping my students reach their goals whether that is getting into the college of their dreams or improving their grades in a specific class. Please provide any resources that could help me when contacting me.
