Knowledgeable and Caring Tutor

After a couple of attempts on the Math section of my CBEST I still could not pass and knew I needed to find a tutor. That's when I came across Sylvia and right away I knew she would be able to help me. She would explain different methods to tackle a problem and help me solve it, it came out to the point where I could even do the problem myself without any guidance which I was never able to do before. She was very flexible to fit me into her schedule and very patient when I told her I didn't know the answer to the problem and worked with me. I would highly recommend her for she was an amazing tutor!

Sylvia was an excellent tutor. She tutored me on the CBEST Math Test. She helped clairfy concepts I did not understand and taught me test taking strategies. She was very thorough in teaching and explaining the solutions to the problems. She taught me word problems that entailed logic, probability, comparing decimals, percentile, stanine and raw charts, and forming equations with one and two unknown variables, etc. Sylvia was very patient, easy to communicate with, and was committed to helping me understand my lessons. She was very knowledgdable about Math and the CBEST Math Test and I highly recommend her to be your tutor. She was absolutely awesome.

Highly Recommended CSET Math Tutor!
