Hello! My name is Khang, and I’m currently studying Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance at the University of California, Irvine. I’ve been a professional tutor for over two years, working with students aged 10 to 18. I specialize in school Math, Business subjects, Economics, and SAT Math. I achieved a 780/800 on the SAT Math section and have consistently earned A grades in all my Math and Business courses throughout my academic journey. In high school, I was on the Honor Roll and actively involved in multiple honor societies, including the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society), and Rho Kappa (Social Science Honor Society). I also earned an A on my IGCSE Mathematics Exam as a freshman.

I’m deeply passionate about teaching and take great pride in helping my students explore their curiosity and reach their academic potential. My tutoring approach is rooted in creating personalized study plans tailored to each student’s unique areas of improvement, learning pace, and specific academic goals. By focusing on their individual needs, I’ve been able to help my students achieve a 100% passing rate. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring as well as group sessions with 3 to 4 students, where I volunteered at my school’s tutoring club to help peers succeed.

As a student myself, I understand the most effective teaching techniques and strive to make each session both fun and engaging. I incorporate real-life examples related to students’ interests, whether it’s sports like soccer or basketball, or their favorite music, to make even the most complex topics more relatable and easier to understand.
