Japanese Language Tutor for Beginner to Intermediate Japanese

Hi I'm Paris! I started studying Japanese in 2014, and decided to major in it once I got to university. I attended UCLA and received my B.A. in Japanese Language and Culture in 2018 and also received my A.A. in Communications in 2016.

I lived & studied in Japan for a total of almost 2 years (2018-2020), where I studied at International Christian University in Tokyo, signed with Japanese talent agencies, and worked as an English Teacher at a local "Eikaiwa" also known as an English Conversation School in Mitaka, Tokyo.

I passed the JLPT exam (N3 level) in 2018 and I am currently studying now to take the N2 for the first time this year. I would consider myself to be conversational (Upper Intermediate/Advanced) in Japanese and have been told that I have great pronunciation.

I have worked as a host on a Japanese TV show, have partnered with Japanese and travel companies for contracted work, and I currently work part-time at a Japanese company, where I handle social media marketing.

In my free time, I do my own marketing work, play video games, watch anime, and hang with friends and family. I love the outdoors, the beach, yoga, sushi, and I love snowboarding even though I've only been once, when I was in Japan.
