My classroom teaching experience is in teaching both general and special education with behavioral issues.
I have references of parents as well as teachers that I have worked with. I believe there is more than one method to solve a problem so I offer different strategies for students to choose from, but I encourage their own ideas and strategies . I truly believe in learning everyday as I teach and I am grateful for this opportunity.
Math is my passion and I love sharing it with students. My job is to make students fall in love with Math like I did (thanks to my amazing teachers) as well as make students think. Math needs someone to deliberately unfold steps one by one with patience and that is my approach. Sometimes students need repetitive explanations to enhance understanding of concepts like Geometrical proofs. Problem-solving together is what I encourage.
