Hi! My name is Matthew C., and I’m a Junior at UCLA, majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Data Science Engineering. Beyond that, I’ve also provided personalized tutoring in my community, focusing on SAT math preparation and college essay assistance.
In high school, I excelled academically, completing Multivariable Calculus at a community college as a senior and earning As in both semesters. My math expertise is further demonstrated by achieving a perfect score of 800 on the SAT Math Subject Test (back when it was still offered!). My strong suits include tutoring a wide range of mathematics topics, from discrete math, probability, and statistics to linear algebra and multivariable calculus.
In addition to math, I am passionate about computer science and can tutor in Python, C++, and foundational computer science concepts. Whether it’s algorithms, data structures, or debugging code, I’m here to help students gain confidence and mastery in the subject.
