During my tenure as a PhD student in Environmental Science, I learned how to use Microsoft Excel proficiently to process my data and create graphs.
As a graduate student, I taught several courses. One of these courses involved teaching students how to use Microsoft Excel to 1) create summaries of their data using pivot tables, 2) use formulas to efficiently calculate metrics, and 3) create graphs using data they collected.
Another course that I taught was a field course where students collected data independently and I helped them with analyzing their data. This involved one-on-one guidance on how to use Microsoft Excel to perform statistical analyses and create graphs.
I learned how to use Microsoft Excel proficiently during my graduate school education and have published papers that include data processing, statistical analyses, and graphs using these programs. I also have experience teaching courses that involved both one-on-one guidance and guidance in group settings for Microsoft Excel.
