I have experience tutoring high school students in Algebra 2 (IM3) and Pre-Calculus in a one-on-one and small group setting. I identify gaps in understanding, breaking problems down step by step, and ensure the students also understand the why and not just the how. I prioritize clarity, patience, and active participation so students are more than completing homework, but learning how to approach similar problems on quizzes and tests.
In addition to subject content, I help students build effective study habits and confidence in their abilities. I primarily work with middle school, high school, and early college students, and I modify my approach based on each student's needs and learning style.
