I am a credentialed Special Education Teacher currently serving students with Mild/Moderate Support Needs at the high school level. I hold a Bachelor's degree and am completing my Education Specialist credential through the Sacramento County Office of Education. In addition to my special education experience, I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) internationally and worked as an online English instructor with VIPKid.

Over the years, I have worked with students ranging from elementary school through high school in a variety of settings, including one-on-one tutoring, small-group instruction, online learning, and inclusive classroom environments. My experience includes supporting students with ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, executive functioning challenges, and English language development needs.

My tutoring approach is individualized and strengths-based. I begin by identifying each student's current skill level, learning style, and goals. From there, I provide structured support, explicit instruction, guided practice, and regular feedback to help students build both skills and confidence. I specialize in reading comprehension, writing, study skills, organization, executive functioning, and academic support for students with diverse learning needs.

As both a classroom teacher and case manager, I understand how to break complex tasks into manageable steps, teach effective learning strategies, and help students become more independent learners. My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to help students develop the confidence and skills they need for long-term success.
