My speciality lies in showing kids that we first learn to read so eventually we can read to learn. Once we are reading, comprehending and writing about our reading, the world of literature and early literacy opens up. Kids catch the “reading bug” and reading becomes joyful!
I will work with your child to assess strengths and areas for growth. I will provide testing results and ideas for reinforcing literacy skills outside of tutoring sessions. Your child will be met where they are and challenged to go further as skills begin to develop.
