I'm a student at UC Berkeley majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science. I have several years of experience tutoring both high school math and competition math. I'm a student at UC Berkeley majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science. I have several years of experience tutoring both high school math and competition math. I led all tutoring operations for my school’s math club, where I personally helped over 15 students earn 5s on the AP Calculus AB and BC exams. I also have extensive experience working with middle and high school students in AMC 8, MATHCOUNTS, and AMC 10 prep. Many of my students have earned perfect scores, made the Distinguished Honor Roll, or qualified for state-level competitions. I am a 4-time AIME qualifier, including Distinguished Honor Roll awards, and have a strong background in problem solving and mathematical reasoning.

Most of my tutoring has been one-on-one, both in person (at a high school) and online, with students ranging from ages 11 to 18. I’ve also taught in group settings as part of school programs and volunteer workshops. My teaching style is focused on building strong fundamentals, identifying weak points, and helping students gain confidence. I use a mix of guided practice, clear explanations, and challenge problems to help students grow without regurgitating information. I also work on test-taking strategies when needed.

I scored a perfect 800 on the SAT math section and regularly help students prepare for standardized tests as well as school assessments.
