Strongly Recommended AP Calc BC Tutor!

Diana worked with my daughter during her AP Calc BC class this year, and my daughter ended up earning a 5 on the test! My daughter's teacher in school didn't stick strictly to the AP curriculum, and didn't finish with much time left for the students to take practice tests and prepare in class. Diana was an exceptional teacher and tutor who more than made up the difference. Diana clearly explains math concepts, and my daughter found her explanations easier to understand than the in-class explanations. Diana also helped my daughter prepare for tests, reviewing material together and sometimes assigning her extra practice problems. When it was clear as we approached the AP test that the teacher wasn't strictly following the AP curriculum and might not cover everything necessary for the test, Diana put together a plan, taught my daughter the extra concepts, and gave her more practice problems. Diana's deep understanding of the AP Calc BC curriculum, her clear domain expertise, her patience and her communication skills make her an excellent tutor that my daughter was very comfortable working with. My son had missed some AP Calculus classes at school (due to illness) and had fallen behind. He was struggling, and it only got worse as the work became more difficult. Fantastic tutor! Diana is very patient and understanding, and easily adjusts to the student's learning pace. I was tutored in AP Calculus AB weekly for a year, and with Diana's help I was able to follow along in class, and even get ahead in the material. She teaches new material in ways which are very easy to understand, along with providing extensive amounts of extra practice and problem sets. My daughter is in a medical condition and was not sure if the tutoring could help her catch up. Teacher Diana was very patient in having conversations with me (the mom) to prepare for the first class in terms of the student's academic needs and accommodation plan. Knowledgable, clear, and friendly tutor

Diana is our go-to tutor. Nothing seems to phase her when it comes to math. We use Diana consistently for help in Alg 2/Trig (last year) and pre-calculus honors (this year). No matter the math subject, she has been endlessly helpful in helping my son reach his full potential in math. Yes, she's pricey, but expertise and stress reduction for my kid are worth the price!
