In college, I was hand selected by esteemed faculty members to tutor two students who had learning disabilities. I was invested in their success in unique ways; I was flexible and accommodating to their learning preferences and deeply enjoyed watching them learn and earn good grades in the classroom. In addition to this, I am patient with my students and I'm willing to go the extra mile to help them, be it flashcards, games, and powerpoints.

In high school I began taking Spanish lessons, I was very taken with learning a new language and one that was something I encountered often in San Diego. I enjoyed the class so much that I helped my instructor create new games and functions outside of school to learn more. I continued my Spanish education two years into college, totaling five years of study in Spanish.
English is my chief passion. Upon taking the ACT exam, I received a perfect score on the writing portion. I've always excelled in the area of language, grammar, and literature. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in the study of English and have been a voracious reader my entire life. English studies allowed me to follow a career path to law. In addition to this, I am actively studying to obtain my TEFL certification to teach home and abroad.
I look forward to meeting and working with you! My schedule is flexible and I'm willing to work both day and night, including weekends! I am bilingual and ready to take on a new challenge.
