I love to work with people who are eager to learn and then go out an apply what they learned. My tutoring, mentoring and coaching sessions are following the GROWER model. We always want to keep the goal in mind, consider our current reality together with obstacles and opportunities for change, what actions we can take and then check how well these actions work, what results we generated and how these results might impact our goals.
I started teaching, mentoring and coaching, first as a flight instructor in the Air Force. Later I received a number of mentoring and coaching certifications. To enhance my academic foundation, I completed a master's degree in organizational change management and a PhD in Leadership. I am also a certified project manager and have completed many high-tech projects for companies as a consultant. The combination of practical experience, my work as an entrepreneur in my own company since 2005, and my training allowed me to become a faculty member of the American Management Association and I still am.
For me to make the most impact I like to work with students in graduate programs but ideally also in managerial and leadership roles. There are many aspects of interpersonal engagement, growing a company, developing successful structures and projects and progressing a career to the C-suit - that is what I would love to help you with.
