Hey! My name is Aden, and I am an 18-year-old graduate of Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego, California. Throughout high school, I involved myself as much as I could in STEM, completing my school's most advanced math and physics courses as well as the engineering pathway.
I also served as Co-President of my school's FTC Robotics Team, the Robo Ravens, where I taught new members CAD design, engineering principles, building techniques, and the problem-solving skills necessary to succeed in robotics competitions. Beyond the team itself, I also taught at our robotics summer camp, working with students in grades 6–9, helping them develop confidence in engineering, design, and teamwork.
In addition to my STEM teaching experience, I have experience working with children through volunteer programs. I volunteered with Blue Angel Snow Camp, assisting children on the mountain and helping create a safe and enjoyable learning environment. I have also worked with children through programs at Agua Hedionda Lagoon in Carlsbad.
I am passionate about helping students learn and grow. Whether it's math, physics, engineering, robotics, or problem-solving, I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into understandable steps and helping students build both their skills and confidence. Through Wyzant, I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for STEM and helping students achieve their academic goals.
