I believe that the ability to critically think and communicate is the one of the most important skills for a person to be successful in this life. My entire career has been involved with helping others succeed in their life, at their job, and with their own well being.

I have taught and built curricula for university level courses in business communications, project management, literature, and writing. Facilitated and built curricula for corporate training for Google, Microsoft and other Fortune 500 companies on a variety of leadership development topics including leading through change, leading at scale, leadership philosophy, emotional intelligence, coaching, neuroleadership, diversity and inclusion, and situational leadership.

In addition, I have written several non-fiction books in the area of personal growth and development. I have always been a mentor, coach, and tutor to students in my university-level courses, my private coaching clients, and for folks on my team and my work colleagues. I have also privately tutored college level students in essay writing and critical thinking. I have a breadth of experience to bring to any tutoring assignment and can adapt it according to the studen's needs. I believe tutoring is much broader than just grading an essay or writing a thesis statement. It's about how does one think and operate in the world that sets them up for success in the long run. And, this is a holistic approach.

So, I use a variety of techniques in my tutoring practice including understanding the fundamentals of the topic, as well as learning critical thinking skills. I apply coaching and mentoring techniques as well, challenging the student to be inspired to achieve new heights.
