I also currently work as a nonfiction writer and editor. Whether you're working on an essay or your thesis, it comes down to organizing your material into a compelling narrative (impeccable grammar and some precise word choices don't hurt either). I specialize in helping applicants write effective personal statements, research statements, and essays for graduate school and medical school admissions. Many applicants don't have experience writing about themselves, which can make this process daunting! I've helped applicants identify and refine their stories, and all of my mentees got into at least one of their top-choice schools.
