Hi, I'm Vincent! I am an upcoming graduate of University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a baccalaureate in Philosophy! While at UCLA, I realized my passion for teaching and tutoring through an appreciation of the amazing professors I had the privilege of studying under, all of which have inspired me to continue my education at the graduate level in the coming year. While certainly a peculiar degree, studying philosophy has allowed me to explore my interests through interdisciplinary investigations, ranging from linguistics and ethics to biological evolution and mathematics. This freedom of exploration opened my eyes up to the truly fantastical nature of academia as a whole, informed my understanding of quality education, and will help propel me to a lifetime of learning!
The greatest experiences I've had in the classroom were centered on engaging and supportive learning structures, which I believe are essential to information retention and the cultivation of an appreciation for education as a whole. I ensure each session is cultivated to each individual's needs through personalized planning, varying subject to subject, to ensure content is both approachable and comprehensible. Through my years as an Eagle Scout I've learned that you are bound to receive whatever you put in, so ensuring quality communication and interpersonal connection are paramount for enabling excellence in any field. By applying an appropriately-energetic and positive attitude towards learning, and identifying personal interests through connections to the relevant material, I believe academic success can be a far less stressful endeavor than most imagine!
