Hello, My name is Steve, and I am a AutoCAD and SolidWorks Designer that has over 20 years of Drafting and Design experience and multi discipline engineering background. I have be using AutoCAD 20+ years and have been using SolidWorks for 17+ years. As a professional I tried to stay as knowledgeable as I could on every program I used so I made an effort find the fastest and easiest ways to get my work done. When I discovered new commands or found new tricks I would always share them with my co-workers. When I was introduced to SolidWorks and 3D Solid Modeling it had only been 3 years since it's initial release and since I was already a strong AutoCAD user I was asked to help convert all company designs from AutoCAD to SolidWorks. I became a very strong SolidWorks user and had helped the Company setup the PDM (file management system) and SolidWorks standards. As more and more companies began using SolidWorks I began getting hired to help companies move to SolidWorks and train CAD users how to use SolidWorks. I later taught a course at Westech College for Solidwork to see how my method of teaching would work in a classroom. I received a good response and felt most students were comfortable with the way I taught. I keep my lessons simple and try to give them the tools that they will use on there current projects at works or at school.
