I’m currently a fourth year medical student at a California MD school gearing up for internal medicine residency. I was part of a direct bachelors-to-MD pathway and have interviewed for top 40 residency programs, and I know what it takes to prepare competitive applications for medical school. From going through the application process myself, I can help you refine your personal statement, experiences section, and secondaries. I provide guidance with brainstorming, writing, and editing and ensure the final product cohesively conveys your authentic self and helps you stand out. I am flexible to either meet together or provide feedback within 24-48h so that you can meet your deadlines. I also help with interview preparation, hosting mock interviews and providing real-time feedback to get you ready for interview day.

Additionally, as part of E.G.I.L. (Educate. Grow. Inspire. Learn.), a 501(c)(3) non-profit I co-founded in 2021, I have served as a mentor and tutor for elementary school students, particularly those behind grade level in math and reading. In total, I’ve had more than 6 years of tutoring experience, and my approach is to meet my students where they are and help them develop a strong foundation while empowering them to take on problems independently. I specialize in helping students with phonics, vocabulary, and reading comprehension as well as numbers sense, basic operations, and word problems.

Whether you are a pre-med student preparing to apply or a parent of an elementary student needing extra assistance, I am here to help! I am passionate about supporting younger generations both personally and academically, and I’m always open to feedback to best serve you and your needs.

Personal Statements

Having been through the rigorous application process for medical school and now internal medicine residency, I know what it takes to craft a competitive application. In addition to strong test scores, conveying your authentic self through the personal statement, work & activities, and interview is crucial. I have had more than 6 years of tutoring experience and am passionate about helping students meet their goals.
